Dr. Sadeghian received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine, followed by Physician Executive MBA at Auburn University, and then a Master’s degree in Biomedical Informatics, funded by the National Library of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a Pediatric residency at the University of South Alabama and subsequently completed training in Clinical Informatics at the University of Washington. As a Physician Informatician specializing in general Pediatrics, Dr. Sadeghian became the first and only Pediatrician in North America with fellowship training in both Clinical and Biomedical Informatics. He served as a member of the executive committee of the Council for Clinical Information Technology (COCiT) section of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Co-Chair of the Division of Digital Health and Innovation Section of Southern Medical Association. He has over 10 years of experience as a healthcare leader in various lean-based system workflow designs, EMR implementation, and optimization. His focus is on Innovation Technology and Digital Transformation initiatives to improve healthcare value, quality and safety, reduce physician burnout, as well as increase access to care in underserved areas.
